"I grew up in Biloxi, MS, and was
raised on 80's rock, all the big hair bands of the day. A friend of mine
had an extra ticket to a Bon Jovi concert, and after I saw Richie Sambora
play a triple-neck Ovation on "Wanted: Dead Or Alive", I was floored and
decided I had to learn how to play. I got my first guitar (a pawn shop
plywood special) my junior year of high school and taught myself with an
Ernie Ball chord dictionary . I still have that guitar. My other
influences include The Beatles, Elvis, Journey, Steven Curtis Chapman, and
vocal groups like 4HIM and The King's Singers. I've lived in Fairfield,
CA for 11 years, married to Carolyn for 8 of those years, and our
daughter will be 5 this year. I currently serve alongside Joe Ellison as
co-worship leader for Solano Valley Church in Fairfield."
