Originally from Evansville, Indiana; Jon and his wife moved to the Bay Area in March 2000.  Jon Hooked up with Joe Ellison in late 2000 and helped Joe record his first demo in March 2001. Jon has studied drums and percussion since the age of 8.  He is well versed in all musical styles, but leans towards rock/blues rock styles.  Jon has studied with the late, renowned instructor Bruce Langford (Indiana), and currently studies with Bay Area greats John Xepoleas (The Fundamentals) and Rob Hart (Rob Hart Trio, Berklee Graduate and Solo Artist).  Jon also is a noted instructor of his craft. Jon's resume includes gigs with numerous Rock, Metal and Jazz bands, and stints at several churches, and besides playing with Joe Ellison, he is currently the principal worship band drummer at New Life Church in Fairfield, California - under the leadership of Promise Keeper's (Maranatha!) worship leader David Cobb.
